PR and Marketing Internship

We are looking for a PR and Marketing Intern to join the Dales Business Women team and help take our digital marketing to the next level. This role is suitable for a recent graduate or student who is passionate about content. You will look after our social media channels and help with other areas such as media relations, email newsletters and blogs. The role will lean towards digital marketing but there will be opportunities to support our PR activity. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience while having a direct impact on the external communications of our company.

While experience is not essential, it’s crucial that the right person has a can-do attitude, with plenty of initiative and enthusiasm for the role. We’re a small company so flexibility is key. There is potential for this role to evolve into something more long-term for the right person.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

*Overseeing social media channels
*Creating content for different digital platforms
*Responding to social media posts
*Sending newsletters using third-party software such as Mailchimp
*Proofreading copy
*Possible opportunities to conduct interviews for articles
*Formatting and uploading content and images using a WordPress CMS
*Liaising with journalists
*Assisting with press materials and content
*Other marketing related tasks

*One day a week (9am – 5.30pm) or 7.5 hours split across two days (preferable)
*Up to three months
*Minimum / Living Wage
